Print Template Types

WebOPSS allows an authorized user to easily create various types of authorizing documents and customize them by adding a header and footer to any type of authorizing document template. This is done with two sections, HQ > Templates > Print Templates and HQ > Templates > Print Template Types.

Print Template Types allows authorized users to simply create or edit the properties of each document type, while Print Templates allows users to customize the content of the header and footer in each type. (For more information on editing the document type contents, see Print Templates.)

To Add a Template Type:

  1. In the left navigation area, under Headquarters > Templates, click Print Template Types. The Templates—Print Template Types page appears:

  1. Click Add. The template type properties page appears:

  1. Enter the Code and Name in the appropriate text fields.
  2. If desired, enter a Description in the text field.
  3. Click the Active checkbox to make the template type immediately active (available).
  4. HINT:  Users can return to activate an inactive template type at any time after it has been created. 

  1. Click Save. The Print Template Types table changes to reflect the addition.


To Edit a Template Type:

  1. Under the left navigation area, under Headquarters > Templates, click Print Template Types. The Templates—Print Template Types page appears.
  2. Select the row of the desired template type.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Make the desired changes.
  5. Click Save. The changes appear on the Print Template Types table.
